Responding to the high demand of educational needs, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) has recently added four high quality Diploma Programmes to its current Foundation for Degree Programmes. The Diploma programme offered at Putrajaya Campus is Diploma in Computer Science while the Diploma programmes offered at Muadzam Shah Campus are Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Finance and Diploma in Business Studies. The duration required to complete each of the Diploma Programme is 2 years with full time lectures. However, there is a basic minimum set of qualifications that all potential students need
to fulfill. Each of the Diploma programme generally has its own entry requirements, both in terms of subjects that the students must have already studied and the examination grades required for entry.
The Diploma in Computer Science programme requires student to fulfill three entry requirements. The first requirement is pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credits in three subjects including Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics. The second requirement is pass Bahasa Inggeris in SPM. The third requirement is pass any one of the additional subjects offered in SPM.
The Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Finance and Diploma in Business Studies require student to fulfill several entry requirements. The first requirement is pass SPM with credits in three subjects including Bahasa Melayu. The second requirement is pass Bahasa Inggeris and Mathematics in SPM or pass in any certificate in business programme or other relevant field locally or internationally (get accreditation from MQA). Students could also provide any other qualifications and they will be considered by UNITEN.
